For a long time, the only leveling guides available to Warcraft players were dinky little e-books which were filled with limitations. To simply read the guide, players had to do one of three things: go in and out of the game constantly with alt-tab, print the guide out which took hundreds of pages, or use a second monitor which only a few players had. Then they had to scan over the game map trying to find specified locations using coordinates.That gave Zygor the revolutionary idea of creating a guide that could be viewed from inside the game using an on screen arrow which would point you where to go. He also wanted the guide to have a "brain" so it would know when a player completed steps and could adjust accordingly on the fly. This was an extremely ambitious and huge undertaking, for nothing like that had ever been done before, but Zygor was determined to make it happen.
Redesigned graphical user interface :
In Version 2.0, our guide has recieved a huge facelift which includes a brand new graphical user interface, dazzeling new animations, and newly detailed buttons and scroll bar created by our in house team of graphic artists. Bullet icons have been added to each step to indicate quest pickups/turnins, item collection, monster kills, flight paths and more. The updated skin comes in four colors: blue, green, orange, and violet. For you old school Zygor users, the new GUI can also be disabled if you prefer to run in the original barebones mode.
Improved quest step detection :
All of our guides come with our custom built Zygor Detection System™, which was what put Zygor Guides on the map. With version 2.0 we have improved the intelligence technology even further so that the guide now tracks your progress directly within the guide text.
On screen directional arrow :
Our guide places an arrow right on your screen which shows you exactly where to go and adjusts dynamically as you move. It even changes color from red (when you are far away) to green (when you've arrived at your location). We also include multiple waypoints for some steps which the directional arrow can switch between.
No class left behind :
Whether you're a warlock or a hunter, druid or a shaman, no matter what class you pick we've got you covered. Quests to get your pets, minions, and unique spells merge seamlessly with the main guide when they become available. The guide is also designed to be easy for all classes, not just hunters.
Talent advisor :
Another Zygor Guide first, and exclusive feature you will not find anywhere else, is our all new In-Game Talent Advisor. The guide will now detect the second you level up and tell you exactly where you should spend your new talent points so you get the most out of your class while leveling. You don't even need to open up your talent panel, just click the built in learn button and it will place the points exactly where they need to go automatically for you.
